Have Your Say: 2025 Revised and Proposed Fiscal Framework (Medium-Term Budget Policy Statement)
The Standing Committee on Finance (National Assembly) and the Select Committee on Finance (National Council of Provinces) invite stakeholders and interested parties to submit written submissions on the 2025 Revised and Proposed Fiscal Framework, to be tabled with the 2025 Medium-Term Budget Policy Statement (MTBPS).
In terms of section 28 of the Public Finance Management Act, 1 of 1999 (PFMA), the Minister of Finance must table multi-year budget projections for revenue, expenditure and key macro-economic projections annually. The Minister will also meet the obligation under section 6(1) of the Money Bills Amendment Procedure and Related Matters Act, 9 of 2009, to submit the MTBPS to Parliament.
Copies of the 2025 MTBPS will be available on 12 November 2025 at: www.treasury.gov.za .
Public hearings will be conducted virtually on Wednesday, 19 November 2025. Stakeholders who wish to make oral presentations at the hearings must indicate this in their written submissions. Written submissions (and requests to present orally) must be received by 12:00 on Monday, 17 November 2025.
