Have Your Say: Special Appropriation Bill (B22 - 2025)
The Select Committee on Appropriations (National Council of Provinces) invites stakeholders and interested parties to make written and/or oral submissions on the Special Appropriation Bill [B22 – 2025]. This Bill was introduced by the Minister of Finance on 26 September 2025. The Money Bills and Related Matters Act, No 13 of 2018, requires Parliament to conduct public hearings and to report on all Bills.
The Bill seeks to appropriate an additional amount of money for the requirements of the vote of Health for the 2025/26 financial year to address the shortfall resulting from the withdrawal of international donor funding to the
health sector; and to provide for matters connected therewith.
The closing date to make written submissions or indicate your intention to make an oral presentation is at 14:00 on Friday, 31 October 2025. Public hearings on the abovementioned Bill will be conducted by the Select Committee
on Appropriations on Wednesday, 05 November 2025 at 09:00.
