Have Your Say: 2025 Division of Revenue Bill, 2025 Appropriation Bill, Public Sector Pension and Related Payments Bill, and Eskom Debt Relief Amendment Bill
The Standing Committee on Appropriations invites stakeholders and interested parties to make written or oral submissions on the 2025 Division of Revenue Bill and the 2025 Appropriation Bill that were be tabled by the Minister of Finance on 21 May 2025. Furthermore, you are invited to make written or oral submissions on the Public Sector Pension and Related Payments Bill and the Eskom Debt Relief Amendment Bill that were tabled by the Minister of Finance on 19 April 2025.
The Money Bills Amendment Procedure and Related Matters Amendment Act, No. 13 of 2018 (the Act), requires Parliament to conduct public hearings and to report on all Bills. Public hearings on the abovementioned Bills will be conducted via virtual media platforms by the Standing Committee on Appropriations as follows:
- 2025 Division of Revenue Bill: Friday, 13 June 2025
- Public Sector Pension and Related Payments Bill: Friday, 13 June 2025
- 2025 Appropriation Bill: Wednesday, 02 July 2025
- Eskom Debt Relief Amendment Bill: Wednesday, 02 July 2025
The closing date to make submissions or to indicate your intention to make an oral presentations on the above Bills is Wednesday, 11 June 2025 at 16:00.
Submissions must be directed to the Committee Secretary, Mr Mashile Maubane by e-mail amaubane@parliament.gov.za.
