Submissions and Hearings
The Standing Committee on Appropriations invites stakeholders and interested parties to make written and/or oral submissions on the 2025 Division of Revenue Bill. The Bill was tabled together with the 2025/2026 national budget by the Minister of Finance on 12 March 2025.
The Money Bills Amendment Procedure and Related Matters Amendment Act, No. 13 of 2018, requires Parliament to conduct public hearings and to report on all Bills.
Public hearings will be conducted by the Standing Committee on Appropriations on Tuesday, 1 April 2025 at a venue yet to be confirmed. The closing date to make written submissions and to indicate your intention to make an oral presentation is 12:00 on Friday, 28 March 2025.
Submissions must be directed to the Committee Secretary, Mr Darrin Arends, at 071 363 2273 or e-mail daarends@parliament.gov.za or fax 086 637 4444. Submissions can be hand delivered to the 3rd Floor, 90 Plein Street, Cape Town.
