Have Your Say: One-Stop Border Post Bill [B 12 - 2024]
The Portfolio Committee on Home Affairs invites stakeholders, interested persons and parties to make written submissions on the One-Stop Border Post Bill [B 12 – 2024] that was tabled before Parliament on 11 September 2024.
The purpose of the Bills is:
To regulate the establishment of one-stop border posts through international agreements; to provide for the establishment of common control zones in the territory of an adjoining state; to provide for one-stop border processing arrangements; to authorise the application of the laws of the Republic and the adjoining state in the one-stop border post; and to provide for matters connected therewith.
The deadline for submissions is Friday 28 February 2025 at 16:00. A copy of the bill can be found at the Parliament website (https://tinyurl.com/osbpbill).
