Have Your Say: Invitation for Public Submissions on 2024 draft Global Minimum Tax Bill
The Standing Committee on Finance invites stakeholders and interested parties to submit written submissions on the 2024 draft Global Minimum Tax Bill.
The 2024 draft Global Minimum Tax Bill aims to:
- Implement the GloBE Model Rules in South Africa to enable South Africa to impose a multinational top-up tax at a rate of 15 percent on the profits of in-scope multinational enterprise groups.
Copies of the draft Bills are available at: www.treasury.gov.za
Submissions must be received by no later than 12:00 on Monday, 07 October 2024.
Those who want to make submissions at the public hearings on Tuesday, 08 and Wednesday, 09 October 2024 should specifically request this.
