Have Your Say: Invitation for Public Submissions on 2024 draft Tax Administration Laws Amendment Bill (2024 draft TALAB)
The Standing Committee on Finance invites stakeholders and interested parties to submit written submissions on the 2024 draft Tax Administration Laws Amendment Bill (2024 draft TALAB).
Key tax proposals contained in the 2024 draft Tax Administration Laws Amendment Bill (2024 draft TALAB) include, amongst others, the following:
- Implementing the Constitutional Court judgment regarding access to tax Records
- Non-resident vendors with no or a limited physical presence in South Africa
- Timing of VAT on imported services • Overpayments of VAT on the importation of goods and imported services.
Copies of the draft Bills are available at: www.treasury.gov.za
Submissions must be received by no later than 12:00 on Monday, 07 October 2024.
Those who want to make submissions at the public hearings on Tuesday, 08 and Wednesday, 09 October 2024 should specifically request this.
