Have Your Say: Invitation for Public Submissions on 2024 draft Taxation Laws Amendment Bill (2024 draft TLAB)
The Standing Committee on Finance invites stakeholders and interested parties to submit written submissions on the 2024 draft Taxation Laws Amendment Bill (2024 draft TLAB).
Key proposals contained in the 2024 draft Taxation Laws Amendment Bill (2024 draft TLAB) include, amongst others, the following:
- Curbing the abuse of the employment tax incentive scheme
- Clarifying anti-avoidance rules dealing with third
- party backed shares
- Clarifying the VAT treatment of supply of services to non-resident subsidiaries of companies based in the Republic.
- Renewable energy premium deduction.
Copies of the draft Bills are available at: www.treasury.gov.za
Submissions must be received by no later than 12:00 on Monday, 07 October 2024.
Those who want to make submissions at the public hearings on Tuesday, 08 and Wednesday, 09 October 2024 should specifically request this.
