Invitation for Public Submissions
The Portfolio Committee on Transport invites interested people and stakeholders to submit written comments on the Marine Oil Pollution (Preparedness, Response and Cooperation) Bill [B10-2022].
The Bill seeks:
- To give effect to the International Convention on Oil Pollution Preparedness, Response and Cooperation, 1990
- and to provide for matters connected therewith.
Enquiries as well as written submissions can be sent to the Portfolio Committee on Transport (Attention: Valerie Carelse) via e-mail to marinepollutionbill@parliament.gov.za . In addition to the written comments, please indicate your interest in making a verbal presentation to the Committee.
The closing date for submissions is 16 August 2023.
