Have Your Say: Second Adjustments Appropriation (2022/23 Financial Year) Bill [B4 - 2023] (Select Committee on Appropriations - NCOP)
The Select Committee on Appropriations (National Council of Provinces) invites stakeholders and interested parties to make written and/or oral submissions on the Second Adjustments Appropriation (2022/23 financial year) Bill [B4 – 2023]. This Bill was tabled together with the 2023/24 National Budget by the Minister of Finance on 22 February 2023. The Money Bills and Related Matters Act, No 13 of 2018 requires Parliament to conduct public hearings and to report on all Bills.
The Bill seeks to effect adjustments to the appropriation of money from the National Revenue Fund for expenditure approved in the 2022/23 financial year; and to provide for matters connected therewith.
The closing date to make written submissions or indicate your intention to make an oral presentation is at 14:00 on Monday, 13 March 2023. Public hearings on the abovementioned Bill will be conducted virtually by the Select Committee on Appropriations on Tuesday, 15 March 2023 at 14:00.
