INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY

The successful candidate will manage, maintain, administer and support the ICT infrastructure in Parliament.

Key Performance Areas Include:

  • Manage ICT infrastructure support unit
  • Planning and organising
  • Manage IT operations
  • Implement IT solutions
  • Research and IT infrastructure innovation.

Minimum Requirements:

  • IT Degree/Diploma and 5 years’ relevant experience.

Skills Requirements:

  • Knowledge of institutional computing systems
  • Knowledge of Parliamentary service policies, directives and management systems
  • Working knowledge of SLA’s (Service Level Agreements)
  • Project management expertise
  • Leadership and management skills
  • Experience in managing organisational change
  • Ability to implement policy
  • Ability to exercise confidentiality and discretion
  • Sound organisational and administrative skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Remuneration comprises a cost-to-company package, which incorporates all the large company benefits.
