The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing Parliaments cleaning services and Department of Public Works Facility Management services.
Key Performance Areas Include:
- Cleaning and hygiene of offices and buildings
- Coordinate events and conferences
- Waste management
- Staff supervision
- Contractor management
- Stakeholder engagement.
Minimum Requirements:
- Relevant Diploma / Degree in Facilities Management or related studies and 5 years’ relevant Facilities Management experience of which 2 must be supervisory.
Skills Requirements:
- Facilities management
- Contract management skills
- Thorough understanding of OHS Act and building regulations
- Experience in Green building projects
- Supervisory skills
- Sound oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work under sustained pressure
- Knowledge of writing policy and procedures
- Computer literacy
- Project management skills
- Report writing skills
- Financial management skills.
