Parliament has Launched a Country Wide Information and Awareness Campaign in Search of South Africa’s Young Scientists and Innovators.
Parliament of RSA has launched a Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) campaign to identify and encourage young people who are passionate about all things 4IR to join in on an exciting journey. This initiative is expected to serve as a launch pad for youth participation in the world of work in an effort to reduce the rising number of unemployment and spark conversations around the use of 4IR capabilities.
The 4IR Young Innovators event was launched on Tuesday, 20 June 2023, at the Parliamentary precinct, and was attended by various key stakeholders including young innovators from various schools, industry giants, Members of the Executive, and Members of Parliament. The programme comprised of various presentations, a questions and answer session, and a media launch.
