Parliament, Thursday, 7 March 2024 – The deadline by which the Ad Hoc Committee on the General Intelligence Laws Amendment Bill should report to the National Assembly has been extended to 22 March 2024.
The committee was initially scheduled to report to the House by 1 March 2024 however, the deadline was extended to allow for the committee to complete the task of considering and deliberating on the Bill. The committee will tomorrow begin the process of considering and deliberating on the Bill clause by clause.
