Parliament, Tuesday, 19 March 2024 – The Standing Committee on Public Accounts (SCOPA) will tomorrow conduct an oversight visit to the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA) in the Western Cape Metro Rail operation.
This is a follow-up to the oversight visit the committee conducted on 11 March 2022, 20 April 2023, and 4 July 2023. The main purpose of the visit is to check on the status of the Central Line, physical security deployment, and the current relocation of illegal settlements.
