The Parliamentary Radio Programme
The Parliamentary radio programme using 16 SABC radio stations as well as 60 Community radio stations is a central component of the Parliamentary Communication strategy, managed by the Parliamentary Communication Services to support the mass communication objectives of Parliament, specifically the programmes of Parliament that require the use of radio.
The strategic focus of the radio programme of Parliament is as follows:
- Citizenship development and public education
- Communicating the programme of Parliament
- Strategic communication support to Committees
- Communicating the programme of Sectoral Parliaments
- Media Liaison and Promotion
- Providing a general information service
