Parliament, Tuesday 22 August 2017 – The National Council of Provinces (NCOP) Taking Parliament to the People visit to the Free State province has kicked-off in full swing with slight changes to its initial week-long daily programme from 21 – 25 August 2017.

Starting from yesterday, the NCOP permanent delegates and senior Executive members of the Free State Legislature, the national, provincial and local government departments and all  relevant stakeholders, visited hospitals and clinics in Mangaung and surrounding municipalities to give an opportunity to residents to engage face-to-face with their elected public representatives on service delivery related issues affecting them. The Taking Parliament to the People programme is well underway with the NCOP and Free State Legislature progressively tracking the execution of local municipal, provincial and national government agencies undertakings that were made during  previous visits.
