Parliament, Monday, 27 March 2017 – The Select Committees on Economic and Business Development, and Trade and International Relations will undertake a week-long joint oversight visit in Mpumalanga.
The Committees are expected to visit prominent projects including the Kusile power plant, Moloto Rail Development Corridor, Ekandustria Industrial Park, and the Evraz Highveld Steel. The Committees will also get briefings on how the local municipalities are doing in realising the radical economic transformation.
The oversight will kick-start with a meeting at Nkangala District Municipality offices in Middleburg on Tuesday morning.
