Parliament, Thursday, 15 November 2018 – The Select Committee on Appropriations (SeCOA) will tomorrow engage the political leadership of the South African Local Government Association (Salga) on the 2018 Division of Revenue Amendment Bill.

The meeting follows the absence of Salga’s political leadership at a joint meeting of the SeCOA and the Standing Committee on Appropriations on Friday, 9 November 2018. Members instructed that the meeting be rescheduled since the various questions posed by them could not entirely be addressed by Salga’s representative, Mr Mohammed Lorgat the National Programme Director: Municipal Audit Support.
