Parliament, Wednesday, 14 February 2018 – The Portfolio Committee on Science and Technology calls for inputs or submissions into the National Research Foundation Amendment Bill, which is currently before the Committee.
As part of the consultation process with the wider community, stakeholders are requested to provide inputs regarding their views on the Bill, which seeks to expand the functions of the National Research Foundation.
The Committee particularly calls on academia and science councils, amongst others, to provide their views.
A copy of the National Research Foundation Amendment Bill can be found on the website www.parliament.gov.za. Submissions can be sent to Committee Secretary Shanaaz Isaacs, 021 4033763, shisaacs@parliament.gov.za by 16 February 2018.
