Parliament, Tuesday, 13 November 2018 – Cluster 1: Peace and Security will tomorrow answer questions in the National Assembly (NA).

Some of the issues covered by the MPs' questions directed to the Ministers include whether, the citizenship of the Gupta family will be revoked in light of the irregularities surrounding their naturalization, if it is in the interest of South Africa and its commitment to human rights to keep the Israeli Embassy in South Africa open and what efforts the Independent Electoral Commission has made to ensure that all prisoners in South Africa’s correctional service facilities are registered to vote.

The Peace and Security cluster includes the Ministers of Defence and Military Veterans, Home Affairs, International Relations and Cooperation, Police and State Security.

On Thursday, the National Council of Provinces will hold a debate on high unemployment rate in South Africa and ways of turning the tide by growing the economy and creating jobs.
