Parliament, Wednesday, 09 August 2017 – The Portfolio Committee on Higher Education and Training will tomorrow conduct an oversight visit to the University of the Western Cape. The management will brief the Committee on the challenge of student accommodation at the institution, thereafter an inspection will be carried out at newly-built and refurbished residences.
The Committee will also visit the National Student Financial Aid Scheme offices in Wynberg where a briefing on the roll-out of the new student-centred funding model will be given.
