Parliament, Monday, 21 August 2017 – The Portfolio Committees on Human Settlements will tomorrow (Tuesday, 22 August) probe the qualification criteria and the guidelines on the provision of houses for military veterans, in a joint briefing by its accounting Department as well as the Department of Defence and Military Veterans.
The meeting will be held as follows:

After this joint briefing, the Committee will interrogate plans to eradicate housing backlog by National Department of Human Settlements and the Northern Cape Department of Human Settlements. The Department’s 2017/18 Business Plan will also be scrutinised.
