Parliament, Friday, 26 May 2022 – The Portfolio Committee on Sports, Arts and Culture will tomorrow receive a briefing from the Department of Sports, Arts and Culture, and the National Arts Council (NAC), on the agreement reached with the suspended Chief Executive Officer, Ms Rosemary Mangope.

The committee will be briefed on the terms of the agreement as well as the steps taken to address the leadership vacuum at the NAC. The entity will also table its annual performance plan. The committee will also be briefed on the Expired Projects and Surplus Policy.
