Parliament, Friday, 27 May 2022 – The Portfolio Committee on Human Settlements will this weekend, from 27-29 May 2022, hold public hearings on the Housing Consumer Protection Bill in Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality.
Public participation in the law-making is a constitutional imperative which Parliament must ensure that it takes place. The committee calls on the public to participate by expressing their views in these hearings on this Bill based on that imperative. The hearings will take place in Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality from today, Friday 27-29 Sunday May 2022.
