Parliament, Wednesday, 02 August 2017 – The Portfolio Committee on Home Affairs will from today undertake a three day oversight visit to the Eastern Cape to assess provision of services to residents.

Sites to be visited include Telle Bridge Border Gate, Burgersdorp Local Office of the DHA, Aliwal North Office and Mpilisweni hospital. The Committee will begin its day with a thorough briefing by the provincial manager on the state of service delivery in the province.

The Committee will also hold a community engagement meeting with residents of Gcina Village.
