Parliament, Monday, 22 May 2017 – The Portfolio Committee on Water and Sanitation will tomorrow receive a briefing from the department on various issues raised by the Committee while considering the budget of the department.
Issues raised include; the value-add of the department’s Construction Unit to the overall infrastructure development of the department, bucket eradication programme, anomalies raised by the Auditor-General regarding budgeting between the Main Account and the Water Trading Entity and progress on the construction of Clanwilliam Dam.
