Parliament, Monday, 17 September 2018 – The Portfolio Committee on Higher Education and Training will tomorrow meet South African students studying in Russia.
The students will brief the committee on the living and studying experiences of SA students in Russia. The committee is undertaking a week-long study tour of the Russian system in order to gain better knowledge on such issues as funding for the post-school sector, student funding, accommodation for students, skills development and how graduates are placed in the workplace. The delegation is led by the committee Chairperson, Ms Connie September, and will visit various universities and colleges in that country.
