Parliament, Sunday, 13 August 2017 – The Portfolio Committee on Human Settlements will kick-start its week-long assessment of housing delivery in North West tomorrow (Monday,14 August 2017) with a briefing of the province’s perfomance from the MEC of Local Government and Housing, Ms Galaletsang Fenny Gaolaolwe.
Tomorrow’s meeting will take place at the Ngaka Modiri Molema council chambers, from 09h00.
North West is one of the provinces that have been struggling with under expenditure and underperformance on delivery of human settlements. Tomorrow’s meeting is expected to give the Committee an overview of the contributing factors and plans the province has in addressing these challenges.
The Committee will be in the province from 14 to 18 August 2017, assessing housing delivery in the three districts of North West.
