Parliament, Thursday, 14 November 2019 – The Standing and Select Committees on Appropriation will tomorrow hold public hearings on the Division of Revenue Amendment Bill [B15 – 2019].
The Bill proposes to amend the Division of Revenue Act, 2019 (Act No. 16 of 2019), in accordance with section 12(4) of the Money Bills and Related Matters Act, 2009 (Act No. 9 of 2009), since the national adjustments budget for the 2019/20 financial year necessitates changes to the Division of Revenue Act, 2019.
The committees will also be briefed on the Bill by the South African Local Government Association.
