Parliament, Tuesday 14 March 2017 – The Ad Hoc Committee on the Filling of Vacancies in the Commission for Gender Equality concluded its interviews on the 20 shortlisted candidates.
The interviews were done over a period of two days. Tomorrow (Wednesday, 15 March) the Committee will meet to deliberate on the candidates.

Meanwhile, the Portfolio Committee on Health will meet with the North West Provincial Department of Health on the state of healthcare services for mentally ill patients in their province. In addition, the Committee will receive a briefing from the Office of Health Standard Compliance on the audit findings of public hospitals.
