A Man of Integrity

The Deputy President of the Republic of South Africa, Mr Kgalema “MKhuluwa” Motlanthe, will be remembered by South Africans for the period he served as the country’s President for less than a year between September 2008 and May 2009. The manner in which he answered questions from Members of Parliament, especially from the opposition, and the way he dealt with the issues of HIV/Aids and Zimbabwe, were noteworthy for their humility.
